NEWS v.11.6.6
Can’t sleep, so I thought I would give an update of sorts.
Because I was going way above my head, I scrapped the music video animation. The camera movements I was planning were a bit too complicated for me to “have fun with” for the time being. So, I’ve started the project I had planned for after, which is an original episodic tale. At this time, I will only state that the plot consists of a young boy and his experience with the paranormal. An Indigo Child, if you will. Currently, I’ve written the first draft for episode one and am in the works of finalizing it.
Yes, nothing has been uploaded, work-wise. I still have to put up my sketches and three of my drawings, but I’m still trying to figure out if I want a gallery or just have them in posts.
Until then…
NEWS v.11.05.14
It’s been a long time coming, folks. After a long silent treatment, I’m back in the game. Things have changed within me, but the track is still set forward.
I’m still wanting to continue my self-training in traditional media, but it’s come with its consequences. The sibling oil painting that I had started last year has failed. I need to come up with a different approach than what is being practiced with many others. Things just look shitty to me.
On the upside, I’ve decided something… more challenging. Insane, actually. I’m touching virgin territory by coming up with a music animated video. The performer(s) and song will be unnamed till completion to prevent criticizing of my interpretation. As I am doing the process, I will be posting behind-the-scenes footage/commentary of my journey. More will be posted about the current music video. Hopefully, after two or so years of doing this project, I will have enough energy and experience to do an original series. The tale, as of now, is still untitled, but will involve a family’s experience with ghosts and how it all came to being.
This evening, I will prepare the thumbnail outline.
For now, that is all. I have a lot on my plate, and am hoping there are others out there that I can inspire. If this occurs, the more likely I will finally complete a project because knowing that others are interested is a big kick in my ass to finish what you are giddy for.
